Today, I have been reminded of my “birthday song.” This was the altar call song when I accepted Christ in my life back in 2007. Still I can’t help but be heavily moved by this powerful song, and I remembered how I have been a fragile child in the arms of God - a child longing for nothing but the touch of love by his Father.

I hope you will be blessed by this song much more than I have been and that God would touch your heart. Maybe you have been asking whether God truly loves or even hears your prayers. Let me tell you that God loves you so much that He sent His own Son to suffer greatly on the cross for the sake of cleansing you from all your sins, no matter how great they are (John 3:16). Or maybe you have experienced God, but storms, trials and temptations hit you and you start to feel like the Lord is far away. But God said that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5b), and that his love is never ending, His mercies new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Or perhaps you enjoy the presence of God waking you up in the morning and lullabying you as you sleep. May he continue to show you all the great riches of His love and blessings. God never changes, He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. God sees all your triumphs, your joys, your pains, your tears, and He loves you so much and wants to be a part of every aspect of your life.

God, this is my prayer. Let me have a pure heart that follows hard after You, and in times that problems, trials and temptations stumble me, give me the strength to pick myself up, brush myself off and walk on in faith. You are my hope, my strength, my purpose. Without you I am nothing. God, draw me close and never let me go. You hold my life, my future. Help me be the person You have made me to be. Fill me with love that takes away all my fears and doubts. Help me forgive myself as You have forgiven me from all my failures. Be my stronghold, my strong tower always. Let my life be a sweet-smelling aroma unto You. Let everything that I am and that I have bring glory to Your name. God, be magnified. To You belong all the richest glory and honor and majesty and praise, in the mighty name of Jesus.
